- Start with Caffeine Pill: 5 mL of Caffeine, 10 cr base value, filed as in-game medicine.
- A Composition Spectrometer costs 400 cr and shows purity. Chemical Supplies (Common) are 50 cr a box. Milliliters per box are Not verified yet.
- Rent rises every week. The starting rent for each scenario is Not verified yet — read yours off the game and put it in the planner.
- A Heating Plate with no modules sits at 99°C. That is the wrong tool for Dream Cap Extract, which breaks down at 60°C.
The first product that has a full recipe
Caffeine is the only starter reaction with two documented paths, and the yields are far apart. Alcohol and Coffee Bean Mush at 50°C or above can reach 75%. Water at 80°C caps at 12.5%. If the first night is short on Alcohol, expect a small return rather than a mystery bug.
Pour the Caffeine through the Blender before you count pills. With no modules you keep 65%. One hundred milliliters become 13 pills at 5 mL each. The Chem Finisher then dilutes purity: 90% in with no modules comes out at 79.2%, which is Street Standard and a 0% price effect. That is the batch the hero is warning you about. Four finisher modules remove the contamination. They do not turn 90% into Lab Pure. Lab Pure starts at 99%.
What to buy before you chase a grade
Prices that are actually in the supply list: Chemical Supplies (Common) 50 cr, Chemical Supplies (Restricted) 100 cr, Composition Spectrometer 400 cr, Chemical Equipment Module 250 cr, Retired Chemist upgrade 1,000 cr. How many milliliters are in a supply box is Not verified yet. Do not divide a box price by a guessed volume.
The spectrometer is the purity reading the calculator asks for. Without it, the grade result is only as good as the number you type. The first blender module is the largest loss cut (35% down to 20%). The first finisher module cuts contamination from 12% to 6%. Put the module on the machine that is currently dropping you a whole grade, not on both at once, unless you have the credits.
Rent is already moving
Weekly rent rise is 2.5% on Cozy, 5% on Normal, and 10% on Hard and Challenge. Starting rent by scenario was not in the data we collected, so the planner leaves that box empty on purpose. Type the figure from your run. A week-1 rent of 1,000 cr on Normal is 1,050 cr in week 2 and about 1,102.5 cr in week 3. Your number will differ.
Buyout prices, mortgages, and permits are filled in for all four difficulties. Look at them in week one so a later spike is not the first time you see the total. The cash price also climbs after day 50, up to a cap. The planner shows that cap.
