Store FAQ: Specs, Deck, and Multiplayer

Answers below are from the Steam store listing, the Steam news posts, and the SteamDB app record. They are not a walkthrough.

What are the minimum PC specs?

Steam's minimum box asks for 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel Core i3 or equivalent, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 650 Ti equivalent or higher, DirectX 10, and 1 GB of storage. The recommended box only repeats the 64-bit processor and operating system line.

Does it run on Mac or Linux?

The store platform flags show Windows only. Mac and Linux are false, and both requirement boxes are empty.

Is there multiplayer?

The store categories include Single-player. There is no multiplayer category on the listing.

Does it run on Steam Deck?

SteamDB records the Deck status as Playable. The notes say some functions need the touchscreen, virtual keyboard, or a community layout, that some icons are for mouse or keyboard, and that some text is small. Graphics on the default configuration are marked as performing well, and the game is marked compatible with SteamOS. That Deck test is dated 11 September 2026, build 24683229, which is before the 28 October 2026 release.

What controls does the store list?

Categories include Mouse Only Option, Playable without Timed Input, Adjustable Text Size, Custom Volume Controls, and Stereo Sound. Patch 1.0.0.5 added a bell hotkey, B by default, hold to dismiss the customer. Patch 1.0.0.6 added a Menu / Back key that does what Esc does.

The rest of the store box

The store lists the game as single-player, with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Interface and subtitle languages on the SteamDB language table are English, German, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish (Spain), and Polish. Achievements are marked for the first five of those and not for French, Spanish, or Polish. Full audio is blank on that table. The release date on the store is 28 October 2026. At the time this page was written the price overview showed $19.99 with a 10% introductory discount to $17.99, and SteamDB listed that offer as ending 11 November 2026. Sale dates move. Check the store if you are buying today.

The store's short description is a shop on a station: craft, trade, faction loyalties, and buying out the shop before rent forces the issue. The longer text names the starts in brief — gunsmith, chemist, water merchant, fence, farmer, or rock bottom — and says weapons bring inspections, chemical goods bring addiction, water brings liability, and contraband brings raids. It also says a sentient chip took its hosts with it, and that augs look like everyone else until they do not. Those are store sentences, not a combat guide. SteamDB's review line at fetch time was 96%, which matches the developer post that said 96% from nearly 3,000 reviews while also announcing 500,000 copies and a #12 spot on the global most-played chart. A later SteamDB news item said the concurrent peak was 152,036 players on 1 November 2026. The store API's recommendation count at the same fetch was 6,131. Those figures describe the launch week. They are not a forecast.

If you already own the game, the useful next pages are the achievement list, the patch notes through 1.0.0.6, and the water purifier guide. Nothing on this FAQ changes a calculator result.
